    Default 19's on my "05 Maz3 SP23

So these are the rims im looking to get:

Tech 9 Tyres - Wheels: TENZO-R Tracer MB

Ive told they will fit on the vehicle, but to be honest i dont believe them
Especially after what the last workshop told me with the current wheels i have fitted

Car is lowered approx 40mm on Teins
WHat do you think, can i fit these as 19's or are they gonna be too fat ??

    Just found specs:

    19x8.5
    5x100/114.3
    Offset 45
    CB 73.1
    11.33kg

    Not enough info.
If they are wider than 8" then I don't expect a good fit.
If they are 8" wide, then offsets of +48 to +52 are good.
If it was an MPS i'd tell you to run 235/35R19 or 225/40R19
If it's a +45 offset, then it's a fit, but IMO it's not a great fit, it will need gaurds rolled etc. Any of 'em prob need gaurds rolled.

I like the look of them Matt, will suit your new paint work nicely

Nexus' input is valid, you'd need to get some more info on the offset which will in turn help you with tyre decisions. FWIW I've got 19x8 on the Golf with 235/35/19 bumps are more apparent with the 35 series rubber though not too harsh on our roads in Perth

Agree with the above, the offset and width are going to be the kicker's on whether they will fit, with you car being lowered.

If you run 235/35-19 tyres you will have the same diameter as stock. 225/40-19 will probably cause you grief though.

The funny thing is, when I look at your car the last thing I think of is a "lazy owner" What sort of places will do callipers?
Btw I saw a Holden statesman the other day with the plate "REDEVIL" (without the 3) His car just had rims though and was dirty and boring

Thanks Mate, there is a few combination's of the plate going around
Ive had a few contacts to a few places, but am looking to find somewhere closer
Its not a cheap exercise for a workshop to do either ...

I can't remember the CB off hand, so can't confirm or otherwise on that.

I would try to get it in 19x8, and higher offset if possible. 19x8+45 should be good and doable however you'll need gaurd clearance attended to.
If you go the extra 0.5" @ 19x8.5, the clearance issues might be more than you bargained for. Wheel face will be flush with the panelwork @ 8" wide +45 offset.

8.5" and they'll stick out another 0.25" - you can pull them in 7mm if you get +52 offset, and the 8.5" wide wheel face would be flush again. Not sure how you'd go for inner clearance then. Might start to rub strut bits.

    OZ Racing Superlegarra III
    19x7.5+46
    19x8+52.5
    from tirerack.com
I think can be ordered with custom offsets. I'd go +50.

    $3700 + customs for a set.

    ASA AR7
    19x8 +48, 12Kg
in stock @ tirerack and on closeout sale $149Us ea

That's a good fit @ 19", it's inexpensive enough to get a set into the country for $596 + shipping thus needing no customs costs.

Love the Superlegarra's. Always been a fan of that style

You'd want to be cashed up though

Thanks for the suggestions, but im real fussy with the new set i choose :P
They gotta be matte black, have had enough of chrome and trying to clean them
Bling/chrome is old now ( sorry to those with the bling thing still going )

Both rims look good, but im after something similar to the Tenzo's posted above

Anyone have any other suggestions for 19x8" with an offset higher than +45?

Or anyone know where you can get Holden/HSV style wheels without the holes drilled?

Could always try and approacha Holden dealer and see if you can get a set that hasn't been drilled
I got 19's on order - about $2k with rubber - pretty happy
Now its the waiting game ...

Just something to keep in mind; we are always looking to avoid rubbing our wheels arches but these mazda 3's have limited room on the inside as well.

Once your width gets to 8" and up, be careful with high offset wheels or you may find yourself rubbing on the inside.

Because I have BC Coilovers with a wider shock barrel, my 8" RX8 rims (50 offset) are scarily close to rubbing the shock.

So 8" RX8 rims with 50 offsett give me 11mm less clearance on the inside. Thats about the same for 8.5" rims with 45 offset.

I've squeezed 245's under the rear arches and that is pretty much the limit right there; inner and outer clearance.

    Food for thought.

+50 and 8" wide is all good for me as I have a GH2 Mazda 6 and the stock offset is +60 on the 17x7" standard rims.

19x8" +45 sees the front rim stick slightly outside the front guard.
