    235/40/18 is cheaper....

    Get a price on Kuhmo KU36..... Excellent tyre and only $250-280 a corner

    try ebay shop st george tyres, they often have a good range of fairly decent tyres at good prices

    kumho ku36

    225/40/r18 for $233 each

    personally, i would go with 225/45/r18 for $235 each

    Would the kumho ku36 be good on wet roads as well ? Am thinking of changing my tyres. any strong recommendations ?

    They are super-grippy in the dry and average in the wet. Not bad, just average. I haven't tried to thrash in the wet so couldn't say much more really but no specific complaints.

    I can get KU36's at these prices/sizes in melb:
    235/40R18 95W $199
    225/40R18 92W $215
    225/45R18 95W $225
    245/35R18 92W $196
    245/40R18 93W $245

    Thats including fitting and balance and disposal of the old tyres.

    For those in sydney, they charge $25 a pair for freight.

    do 235/40/r18 fit...i just had my car serviced and i have to get 3 new tyres so it will be 4 new tyres, the stock ones are on there and the mazda guy told me if i want to keep them they are over $500 a tyre because they are a rare size and then said i can go 225/40's apparently they fit good at the front but its tight at the back
