Last year there was an incident, below...
So I'm looking at some ways to strip back to bare Aluminium, sand and then a clear coat (that's necessary right?)
This process looks promising:

Apparently it leaves a satin finish. I'd prefer a more polished look, so I guess that's where the sanding comes in.
I've read some horror stories about using chemical strippers.
For the painting, I'd get Troy to sort it.
One day I'd like to go Gloss Black, but for now Id be interested to see how bright bare aluminium looks.
I could just go down to Dupulo, but I figure I can save money by doing the leg work.
Any Brisbane people had their wheels blasted?

Boss: Okay, I mean, we can see your bulge.
Dale: Okay, first of all, they're extremely comfortable. And second of all, at this point in your life, if you haven't seen a bulge, well, I just feel sorry for you.

take it to a wheel repair place. costs about $20 to have it chemically stripped.

Cheers Ryan, Perhaps Dupulo is worth a call anyway. Last time I rang, they quote $220 to completely fix the wheel. But then the other 3 would look shisse. I'd like to get all 4 blasted/cleaned and then clear coated...Shiney!
