235 is the right fit for a 8 rim but 225 will fit as well. I would go with 235, with +45 offset you have very little if anything to worry about.

Yep, go the 235 for sure on the 8" rim.

Just the right thread i was looking for! Hey guys, on the weekend i had my new wheels fitted on my gen 2 and the specs were 18X8.5 with a 45+ offset.. Sits very flush and i like it. Problem is i fear i'm now in the market again for another set of tyres, was wondering if i should go 225 or 235s as i think there wasn't that much inner clearance? comes very close to the struts already but my mate reckons on 235 i might scrub the struts.. I AM however also getting coilovers fitted very soon so i dunno?
