Hey guys
Looking to go up to 19s or 20s on mu MPS, looks like 19s might be the only way
I drive the car atleast 2 hours a day! so i want it to be pretty comfy, only going to drop it a tab but not straight away
Can i run a 40 series tyre on a 19 so i dont sacrifice the quality
also, im told to watch for wheel weight? what should i be looking for?
also, what offset should i run?

19x8 with 5x114.3, +42 offset or more.

FYI I'm told ride quality will change significantly going to 19". Just something to be aware of as you mentioned you still want a 'comfy' ride.
It will definitely change if you lower by springs only (ie keep stock shocks). You will notice the bumps more. It's not bad by any means, but doing both of these things together will be diametrically opposed to maintaning a comfy ride

The ride in a MPS is hardly comfy on the standard rims, going to 19's will make it a lot worse.

But then again, you don't really buy an MPS with ride comfort on the top of your priority list.
Jace has 19's on his car. Pretty sure he runs 40% profile tyres too.
He also says it corrected the innacurate as hell speedo.

40 series tyre on a 19 inch rim, surely that will put the speedo out. 35's would be better, but a hell of a lot firmer!
I've seen this car on a few US forums, the wheel type, colour and size makes my pants move...
They're bronze TSW Nurburging 19x8.5's??? with 225/35/19 rubber with a Eibach Pro Kit.
