    Default 235 40 18's on MPS 6

Seeking some advice from the 6MPS members. Has anyone fitted 235/40's to there MPS6?

Anything I should look out for? I am lowered, but also have my guards rolled. Am running a +48 offset rim at 18x8.

There is a special on at the moment for 235/40 for the new Bridgestone S001 - $299 each fitted.

    225/40 cost is $470ea, 215/45 cost is $410 ea.

Some feedback on issues fitting a 235/40 tyre would be greatly appreciated/.

Your wheels size and offset sounds spot on for 235/40/18's mate. I think it's standard fare for your wheel specs on a 6MPS. With rolled guards you should be fine.

As for tyre type; check out some tyre review threads here. I think for the price you will find many members go with Kumho KU31 or KU36. Some of us have bought from the US and gone with better tyres at imported prices. Lots of choice.

with 18x8 rims (as per sig) you should be ok, i think blackbetty has that tyre size on 18x8's on her car, she had to get her guards rolled (if memory serves correct)
also, would suggest a different tyre....

235 is the perfect tyre size for the 6MPS, they should have come from the factory that way.

Heaps of 6MPS's run 235's and the rear guards only need rolling if the car is lowered, so you're good to go.

Michellen pilot sports 3's work bloody well on a MPS6
anyone who's been on a cruise with BB in the wet will attest to that
