Exact answer back from Bilstein:

The Bilsteins will handle STD or lowered coils e.g., FE2 height
Spring platforms will be in the same position
The ride height would be working off what coils you put in.

Can you recommend a linear rate spring to go with the Bilsteins?

They're currently on a boat! Will be available end of next week. The Bilstein will need to be an application specific spring, so you're not going to have too much choice on spring rates. Anything from stock to slightly lower (read: harder) springs will work fine with them.

I now have the Bilstein B8 & Eibach Pro Kit combo on my 2007 MX5.

Absolutely fantastic, handling is amazing. HIGHLY recommended. If your'e after fantastic handling at no expense to comfort then this is a brilliant solution.
