Warping isn't so much an issue because the MPS I'm pretty sure runs a sliding caliper anyway. What's more important in not ruining the pad is that it's bed in properly, and that the disc doesn't have any DTV (disc thickness variation).

Not critical but always recommended to change or machine rotors where possible.

    A1RM Fitted to an S14!
I used these pads on my S14... held up well! Similar in pad feel to Ferrodo DS2500s but without the hefty price tag

Guys, I would recommend these. I threw a set on the other day before our Fish n Chips cruise and was very impressed with the initial bite and feel, they are definitely on par with the stock items - and so far have noticed less dust buildup too

Thanks mate. From cold they definitely still hold all the properties of a normal street pad, but it's on the track or through the hills where they're in their element!

Oh believe me, they got a good flogging that day
So did the RT615s - im in love

I wanted to make the point about cold bite in relation to the stockers because I know quite a few people who have been disappointed with the Hawk pads in this regard which are a popular choice.

    Hi Tone,

Nah I skipped them after reading some negative comments.
The plan is to get DBA 4000 slotted rotors next (When required).

To be honest I have not noticed any difference over the normal pads in initial bite, if anything its better.
    Hard on they are great!

More positive feedback from HPX users!
HPX Pads received Greg- fantastic delivery speed!!
Bedded them in last night and i can say i'm VERY impressed. They have more bight and better co efficient than the RB74's i was previously using with better pedal modulation.

    Hi Greg,

I have to say the longer they are on the better they feel.
I am now preferring these vastly over the stock pads, and I have to admit my rotors were not machined either.

For that price im not going to bother even looking at the OEM items anymore, for initial bite and feel these win hands down.

    Cheers
    Justin

QFM HPX Pads Fitted To An Import Legnum VR4!
Got my HPX pads bedded in now and they are very impressive. Progressive and pull up very smoothly, or VERY quick if you really want. They also produce stuff all dust and aren't noisy at all with my slotted rotors either. For the money these are excellent pads and much more confidence inspiring than the crappy pads that were on for compliance.

Another case of QFM A1RM for the win!
The QFM A1RM pads were a huge step up in pedal feel and control-ability...No more dead pedal, locking, ABS interference etc. The HPX pads I know nothing about but heard good things.

IMHO, if your ever doing a track day or maybe just hard driving, A1RM are the way to go...

QFM A1RM Fitted To Honda Civic!
The pads are mostly bedded in and I must say that I am VERY impressed.
Even when I was doing the progressive bedding (60-20, 80-20) they pulled up extremely well.

    Very happy, will buy again!

Looking at all these reviews I might have to get in contact with you for a set for my wifes VY Commodore, due for a brake pad change but don't want to pay for genuine!!

    Hi mate,

If it's just a street car probably best to stick to the HPX (which is a Bendix Ultimate equivalent, but very low dust and rotor wear) rather than the A1RM. Even in HPX, with regards to VT-VZ, the front pads are the full face police spec version as standard.

HPX to suit the VY are $79 per axle set, and both front and rear in stock. Shipping is free if you order both front and rear together (so $158 delivered), or else $8 per set individually.

    Regards,
    Greg

    What else can you say?!
I have the A1RM's and these are by far and away the best "serious use" pads I have tried, bar none!!! If you want a high performance or track day pad these are the way to go!!!

In the SRi-T I tried EBC Green, EBC Red's, EBC Yellow's, Pagid, Ferodo DS2500 and the A1RM's win hands down!!!!! They even feel better than the Endless and Project Mu pads I have tried in my other cars...

Low dust, great pedal (the best pedal feel by a long way!), and excellent fade resistance with pedal control...

    Highly recommended IMHO...

QFM HPX Fitted To VT V8 Holden Calais!
My Calais was simply unstopable, brakes had no feel, no stopping power, it was no good at all. Then I discovered HPX brake pads. My car feels so much better, the car pulls up really quick with no brake noise and they don't fade at all.

    THANKS GSL
