    Hi Jmac,

I'm interested - how much turnaround time do you expect for the GB ?

    Thanks,
    Allan

Problem for GB is, if combine price exceed $1k, you might incur additional custom tax. That might be something to consider as well.
I am aware of this, thanks Idea is to individually ship.

Onya Justin for your efforts on the GB.

It surely cant be any worse than the truckaddons.com price. I am still working on finding someone to do business with

I so nearly bought one from truck addons yesterday.
    Thats the idea (Hopefully)

Thanks for everyone that recommended truckadons.com.

, I just typed in "30 OFF" into the discount box and magically saved $30. Even more than the super-secret e-mail discount code "732738", which got me $25. Yes, I even tried just typing in "40 OFF, 45 OFF, 50 OFF, etc..." just for the hell of it. You never know?

Cashed in $50 worth of PayPal MC reward points from all of the porn sites that I've been at lately and VOILA, $278.56 net out of pocket for me!

    Not a bad nights shopping!

If you do decide to go with group shipping Jmac, you're more than welcome to have them send a batch to my place, to help keep them under the customs radar.

Posted this in the other Hypertech thread, thought it would be useful in here too,

Just to add to Jmac's earlier post with the info that was over on Mazdas247, here are all 3 parts of the original post, the latter parts go into some of the more technical aspects of the tuning process,

Mazdaspeed 3/6 tuning info Part 1
Mazdaspeed 3/6 tuning info Part 2
Mazdaspeed 3/6 tuning info Part 3

I also found this comment from Chris at Hypertech that should help answer a few questions about bolt on mods.

The Hypertech tune in the Max Energy Sport programmer will work with most all bolt-on modifications, within the limitations of the stock turbo and injectors.

The time we spent to develop this tune and ensure that all air mass and torque calculations are correct at the higher power levels create a perfect platform for bolt-on mods. Because these cars use a Mass Airflow Sensor to measure the incoming air, any additional air (power) provided by bolt-on mods will be accurately measured and immediately accounted for by the ECU, which will adjust the spark and fueling appropriately for the best, safe power we have already tuned for. Because our tuning maintains an accurate engine model in the calibration, there is no need for custom "maps" for every bolt-on modification.

We correct the MAF calculations based on the type of air intake you have, and adjust the boost and load cut limits to work with the intake and exhaust mods, but leave them in place to protect the engine from mechanical failure.
Nearly all men can stand adversity. But if you want to test a man's character - give him power.

    I'll be down for definate.

As far as customs go in my shipping experience the same address is fine just as long as the invoice attached to each box is under 1k and the invoice/order numbers differ.

Wish I'd known that when I was importing my Enkei - Have them attach an individual invoice for each item (<$1000) on each individual box, and that doesn't attract customs?

I had a group buy for snow gear a couple of months ago and we placed around 5 orders on the one day for around 600-700usd each. They all arrived on the same day and customs was not flagged. A friend made a similar order but was 1008Aud and had to pay 250 in duties lol
