Certainly to Mel, 6 in total....very important to line everything up correctly but if you drill through the holes in the bracket you can't go wrong

Did the instructions look ok to you? I had a go on the weekend but somehow it looked a few inches out. Where it said it should be 14 inches i measured 12.

I haven't drilled yet. Don't want any extra holes!

I did 14" and seemed to be fine Brad....looked like the same position as in the instructions

i measured up 14" too. the centre of the bracket lines up with the side of the random hole in the hood as can be seen in the instructions. im sure this is right, as when I installed mine they were EXACTLY the same length as the prop-rod. I actually had to remove the struts after first fitting to allow me to lift the hood another inch to get the rod back out. If you install the fender mounts first though, you can actually attach the strut and test-fit it before you drill any holes in the hood. good luck

Worked it out. Turns out I was counting too many inches...;-p

Anyways they both in and work as advertised. Cool!

Yeah fellas, found that out yesterday too.

It should read 14" to set the centre hole, then it would be spot on.

But all done and will post some pics tomorrow.

Top effort on this Brad, they look awesome, and work great
