Default Mazda 3 In Dash OEM style LCD Flip Screen

Hi Everyone, I am trying to source out these things from overseas, as it appears its not easy to get locally, and whoever has them locally is retailing them at over $1000. The unit I am looking for is the flip screen that sits in the centre of the Mazda 3 dash (the unit comes with a replacement OEM panel etc for the dash), includes GPS and VGA inputs in the back for your iPod or dvd player...I have seen a few of these in the US websites, you can do some googling for yourself and you will see what I mean.

I plan to contact the manufacturer some how (once I find out who makes them)..If I can buy a few units at once and ship them into Australia, I might be able to get a cheaper buy price. Obviously I will be making sure they have manufacturers wty and Australian maps for the GPS. I am going to aim to have them here at a cost of around between $650-$750 each , but I will have more chance of twisting the arm of the sellers if I have enough interest from you guys for multiple buys....Hence I am writing this thread to see if anyone would be interested in purchasing if I get them in...I dont want to be stuck with several units, as I will have my own money tied up in them....

there is a different model for the 6 I believe. The ones I have been doing the research for, specifically fit the dash of the 3 and look OEM

I just bought and installaed a flip-up GPS/DVD in my MPS6. I got it with Mazda specific reversing camera delivered to Perth for $931.00. Plug & Play install, only took 1.5 hours plus the camera took a bit longer.
I have pic's of the install if anyone is interested.

If anyone was interested in the Auspack Electronics GPS for the Mazda 6 I emailed them yesterday and they said
"The cost of the Mazda 6 unit is 745.00 delivered including maps and
software." (Not including the price of the reversing camera)
Premium Car DVD/GPS (Sat Nav) entertainment systems with in car navigation, DVD/CD player, TV, AM/FM stereo, preloaded maps, USB, phone dialing, Bluetooth, USB interface... <-- This is the unit

You would have to email them and ask, it only specifies Mazda 6.

Hi Acco, Great pics of your in dash enertanment system, Thanks for posting
I have found an Ebay supplier of these and I am seriously considering getting one.
Just curious about how well it integrates with the factory head unit.
Do you utilise the "media" button to listen to DVDs etc ?
Does the unit provide the option for bluetooth handsfree ?
From memory the ebay add indicated that it supports divx files ?
Did you get Australia Maps with the GPS ?

Sorry if these questions have already been answered elsewhere, this is my first week with my MPS and hence my first week on this great forum
I am already spending way too much time trolling the forums looking for ideas and advice

    Cheers
