If theyre anything like the Gen 1's an entire bonnet will be required due to the additional allowances made for the intercooler, I would assume the scoop sits into the unique MPS bulge.

Why the F would you want to do that for anyway?

Add some nice wheels, black out the windows, lower it and have a nice cruiser. Adding a bonnet scoop specifically designed to feed an intercooler, for a car that doesn't have one just screams "loser".

    My $0.02 worth...

I'm pretty sure the SP25 bonnet is completely different to the MPS, so therefore you would have to buy a whole new bonnet which to me seems like a whole lot of money to spend for no actual gain in performance.

    +1 ^^

This would make it cool without being tacky, SP25's are a good looking car as they are, also maybe look at a new front bar to toughen up the stance.

you dont need a gaping hole to make the SP25 look bang-able. Lower the b**ch and put some nice shoes on it.

You will need to buy a new bonnet. the scoop doesnt just sit on top of an sp25 bonnet. Then youll need to buy the scoop cause that wont come with the bonnet. Then youll need to get them both painted. A Good few grand later youll have your bonnet scoop. ha
Dont do it. just lower it, change the wheels if you need to. Itll look good.
Dont spend a few grand to have a fake looking MPS.

+1 for all previous comments. A genuine bonnet will set you back fortune (Genuine parts aren't cheap) add painting and your better off getting some hot wheels like the others said.

This all reminds me of my old GTi-R pulsar owning days when N14 SSS owners were fitting GTi-R bonnets. Not turbo ones, so no need for the bonnet.
Worst thing about it, was that because it was so popular, lots of GTi-Rs were stolen just for the bonnets.

Besides the looks, there is no point to the bonnet (i honestly dont particularly like them anyway - just my opinion)
Knowing Mazda, they would be shockingly expensive, money would be better spent elsewhere.

But really, doesn't matter what we think, its your car, so the final decision is yours.

2ma if you're still around it's okay to come back, we're just having a bit of fun However rather than a scoop you could also add some cool decals, PM Hotcarstuff or jump on his website, you could get something unique made for the SP to toughen up the look if you want
