ihave only recently been taking (proper) notice of the 3 mps and im sturggling with a few details. from what i can tell they've been around since at least 06'?...what cosmetic changes have they gone through to help me identify different models. looks like the 09 will be obvious.....any mechanical enhancments over the years too?..

Car was released in July 2006
First model was based on *C* series of Mazda 3
Updated model was released in March 2008
*D* series of the Mazda 3
The only real difference was the interior.
The new *D* series has piano black interior and black seude seats and door trims.
Also the dials on the new series are white...where as the previous were orange.
No performance or exterior changes.

Also, the D model has a MPS logo on the dash trim above the glovebox.

In the Friday Sydney Telegraph's Car Guide they have the new Mazda 3 MPS arriving in July now....be interested to see if this is true.Quote:
