    Default Hail damage

When the storm came through Melbourne yesterday my Mazda was in the work car park totally exposed to the elements.
Well i drove home in the rain and when i got out of the car i realized nearly every panel has hail damage.

I am not happy to say the least!
Will be contacting insurance this week.

    Not good to hear.

There is already a thread on here about the hail, you are not alone.

I have seen the pictures of the storm, it looked like it was crazy.

yeah my roof is slightly pockmarked

what's the deal with insurance? i always thought they don't cover natural disasters

have to pay the full excess to be repaired?

Just call a paintless dent removal place...they fixed my baby up and she looks brand new.....

It cost me $350 and they come to your house....mine wasnt massively damaged...but its worth getting a quote from them yourself first instead of going through the insurance company....

    Just my thoughts

    I agree!

Mine was recently left with a nice little crease and paint missing from the back bumper in a shopping centre carpark.

I've been quoted $330 at Moorooka Custom Repairs, the excess for insurance is $600. Sometimes it's cheaper to get it fixed yourself.

    Sorry about your car Graeme!

    Thanks for your replies people!

I have dents on nearly every panel so i will be looking at insurance first.

If i for some reason am not covered(god forbid) i think i will try these dent doctors.
    Thanks
    Graeme
