Thread: Rear parking sensor issues

    Default Rear parking sensor issues

So I was pulling out of the garage today and as soon as I put my Gen 1 MPS 3 into reverse, the rear parking sensors started beeping for no reason.

This is the second time I've experienced this. The first time was a few months ago.

Anyone have any ideas on what the issue could be?

You need to refill your blinker fluid

Check your external surface of your sensors... sometimes bugs and dirt coat the sensors and give you that issue. Certainly has happened to me after a long road trip. Just wiping the sensors made everything good again.Hope that helps

Had the same issue with both my Gen 1 and Gen 2 MPS. It was due to the voltage drop of the LED globes in the reversing lights. I had to have a relay installed in the sensor circuit to fix problem. The symptoms didn't show up all the time. I hope this helps.

Happens to me often and it's dirt and dust build up on sensors.

Quick wipe and it should stop.
