Default Gen 1 BK MPS and 235/40/18 tyres

Hi guys, quick question. Is there anyone running 235/40/18 tyres on their BK MPS? Any issues?

If you are on stock rims a 235 width tyre is an illegal fitment

I'm using them, on stock height and on Rx8 rims (et+50) no problems

This is on the BL MPS rims I have for sale. One of the people interested has a BK MPS.

On all 7" wide tyres most 235 wide tyres aren't legal (doubtful you'll even get pinged for it) but if you take corners hard you'll notice side wall wear and it really isn't ideal... If you're just daily using them and drags should be fine but just take it easy on hill runs and track days.

235/40/18 Advan Neovas on 18x8 +48, lowered on prokits. scrubs hard. had the guards rolled, but still scrubbed towards the back where the panel meets the bumper. hammered it down, waiting to see if it scrubs further

i think the advans are a little wider than other brands in the same size.

They are. I've got 245s on 17x9s with ad08s. Compared to other tyres, they seem much more square on the sidewalk
