What % tint do you have on your black car?

Getting my windows tinted in the next couple of weekends, and am curious to what % i should get.

The guy who is doing it does backyarders on the weekends (but works for BMW during the week - tinting their windows). Also comes with 10yr warranty.

My question is, being a black car, and having a black interior, what % should I look at getting? Will 35% (legal) look dark enough? Or should I venture into the 20% and limit my vision at night?

its not that bad really...i have had it on my AB MPS for nearly 5 years.

I know someone with darker tint than mine on an AB MPS

You will kicking yourself afterwards if you go 35%.

Got 35 on my car when i bought it brand new .... bad mistake
Replaced it 18 months later with 20, its dark at night but not too bad
If you go 15 you wont see much at night when it comes to reversing etc.

Paid $38,000 for 100%... not happy with it! But they did throw in a 3MPS for free.

20% it is. I had it on my previous cars, and was quite happy with it.

For those in Melbourne, got the number to a guy that works full time for BMW Melbourne as a window tinter, backyarder job: $180 with 10yr warranty, lives near Knifepoint (Highpoint).

Busy weekend.... Windows tinted on Saturday, Opti-Coated on Sunday. Can't wait.

Definitely 20%. That is what I have and even wish I went to 15%!

I have 10% on mine with no vision problems at all....

Only at night when its raining and i'm reversing out my driveway, or when i'm drunk

Driving while drunk isn't a worry with me anymore - lets face it, we've all done silly things.

I had 20% on my Falcon, I found it to be dark enough, without limiting too much at night, so i dare say i'll be going with that.
