Thread: Damn Cat! Rear Wing Scratched!

  1. #1

Default Damn Cat! Rear Wing Scratched!

    Aggghhh!
I have to back my car into my garage as per the angle of the house to the garage.

I clicked the button to open my garage door and as I was backing up this white cat ran behind my car and scared the crap out of me. I accidentally let go the clutch a tiny bit too much, the car jerked backwards and the top of my rear wing, scratched on the underside of my garage door!

Mmm... Back to the panel beater... dammit!
Mod money being spent on repairs... There are Happy Chappy's and I am not one of them! (Jan!)

Might be able to minimise them and get rid of the smaller ones all together. If you want come over to my place in Surrey Hills on the weekend, I can take a look at it for you

I rub it back a little with a fine cut and polish. It look 10x worse before that

There are some deep "speed marks" that are there until I repair the wing

I went out to look for the cat this afternoon and i found 3 of them next door. It's the old "3 Amigos" trick!

The wing has to come off as the vibration is annoying me so 2 birds 1 stone and some birdshit!

If I can do anything with it it'd probably only take about 20 mins or so. Buy me a beer at the next club event.

Reading the title of this thread I was thinking to myself "How does a cat scratch your wing?!"

Your story makes a lot more sense.

Time to bolt the little bugger into your cat-back exhaust.

bahahahaa what movie was that from again?

i remember when our bus driver in high school hit a dog in the suburbs. cut the poor bastard neat in half. so genius drags half the dog to one side, half to the other. many young ones needed counseling that day lol!
