MPS 6 Side reflectors

Lol this is probably a silly and stupid question but...

what are those side orange reflectors for on the MPS 6..

I turned the hazards on but they dont light up..

Are they actually a light? or just there for decoration

In America they use them for turn signals, but here they are just reflectors, black them out!!

Yeah they look awefull... I just removed and painted black, you can convert into LED's also

Sure, just remove the wheel arch plastic and unclip them from behind the bumper

I think they are there to cause accidents at roundabouts...

The number of people who look right at me while I come around a roundabout turning right, and then pull straight out in front of me... At least three times a week I nearly T-bone someone in a roundabout cos they pull straight out in front of me... they must see the reflector, think it is an indicator and just go, assuming I am going straight cos they think my indicators are not on...

Going to paint them or replace with some LED turn signals soon...
