    Default Reverse Sensor playing up

Anyone had any issues with their reverse sensors on a Gen1?
For some reason in the last couple of weeks mine aren't doing their job, they just seem to think something is constantly behind the car so once I put it into reverse it doesn't stop beeping.. I've given the sensors a clean externally but hasn't made any difference at all...

Apparently mine previously had this issue and has to do something with the brake lights since there an led but mine I think are aftermarket. Maybe just ask an auto electriction.

I had sensors fitted to my Gen 2, and my Gen 1 (now owned by Bakis). Both had the same issue. It is caused by the LED lights. They cause small voltage drops that affect the sensor circuit. You need a relay unit fitted into the circuit to stabilise the voltage.

Mine has been fine since I had this mod done.

    Cheers, Bruce
