oooh that is soooo wrong, what is up with these designers, Subaru have lost it, Honda seem to be losing it, Mazda have done a "Peugeot" and now Ford have this bastard child from a Yeti and Volvo one nighter!!!! Maybe the idea is to frighten people into buying these cars?

Mazda's new 3 and 6 are looking sh*t hot compared to that. Ugh.
I think the new 3 will look better in the flesh than 2d images, we'll see soon enough. The 6 shape has grown on me. What's the bet the enormous gaping grin gets toned down on the next "facelift" model?

Saw one of the new 3's this morning on the way to work...just as fugly in the flesh!

I thought I was seeing things, but then remembered the Mazda rep telling me 4 weeks ago that there was a couple of them around already - tests and such.

It is still recognizable as a 3, but it was like lokoing through soemone else's glasses...did the whole squinting bit and such...

It's like the new 6.
if you didn't like the transition from the last shape and design to the current look, it will probably be the same with the 3 - similar changes.
I spose it might grow on us after seeing them around...maybe...

Looks like car styling will continue to get worse before it gets better.

I can't wait till they get over that fad of dragging the headlight assembly half way up the side of the car. And as for the rapidly diminishing rear windows why don't they just eliminate them and be done with it, as long as they provide a vomit tube for the poor kids who have to sit in the back of these modern cars with no view of the outside world.
