Search function

Just wanna say that the search function for this site kinda sucks balls.
Anything with 3 or less letters and it'll return a message saying the words were to short!
So that would mean that searches such as,
CPE TIP
CPE SRI
DDM 55w HID,
would all return nothing.
Definately makes searching some stuff hard.

Yeah, ive noticed that too.
Its a function on (every?) vbulletin site - at least with defaultish settings.
Its designed to stop people searching for works like 'and'.
Ill have a look if it can be modified to accept a set of dictionary words

Just a quick tip I found recently (if you pardon the pun) - if you use Google and type site:OzMPSclub.com tip - Google then displays (I think) all matches for "tip" on the site ...

Have changed the minimum search string to 3 characters...we'll try it. It could have adverse effects on the length of time to return results and increase load on the server.

Let me know how it feels to use it.
