How to: Embed Google Maps into posts

To further value-add to our growing forum, I have just added another new feature to our forum

Essentially this allows you to embed a pre-edited google map into your post, thus allowing users to zoom in and out and move the view right within the post.

Here's how:

1. Create your Google Maps map (Google Maps)
2. Click the 'Link' button and then the 'Customize and preview embedded map' link



This will open a new window.

3. Click 'large'



4. Zoom in, reposition and get the map the way you want it displayed.



5. Scroll down to the bottom of the window, select all the code and copy it.



6. Click the Google Maps icon in your post window and paste the HTML code between the [GMAP] codes.



7. Finish writing your post and press submit.

This is the result!
