Kumho SPT 31 (225/45/18) at $295 each (without promotion)? => $1180
Kumho SPT 31 (215/45/18) at $275 each (without promotion)? => $1100
That's the cheapest I can find in WA for Kumhos from Kmart Autos.
Now Dunlop Direzza DZ101 is cheaper than Kumho SPT31.
Thanks for the info on tirerack.![]()

Beware, I have reports that the DZ101s can be quite noisy.

just contact your local bob jane or tyres and more they should carry the full range of advan tyres.
expect around 400 per tyre, 215/45/18 should set you back around 390
they are exxy but i can tell you now they are the best tyre out there, often out performing semis while giving better wear

I think I have gone through the whole thread and have noticed that no one has mentioned Hankook Ventus V12 (in OEM sizing).
I too like everyone else was shocked to learn the pricing on the OEM Bridgestones, and when I had clocked 35,000km on them, it was time to change.
I looked around and realised that if I wanted to stay in OEM size, there wasn't a lot around.
Ended up finding that Hankook Ventus V12's had my sizing, $1100 for all four corners, and 25,000km later, they are still more than serviceable (note, I had not had any track days etc).
I think they are a reasonable option, given cost and definitely quieter than OEMs.
Just my 2bob worth.
Weeeeeeee....

In the UK, the Hankook's are rated quite highly. So too are Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas and are a similar price to Toyo T1R's. Don't know if you can get them in Oz. If you have never heard of them take a look at the unusual tread pattern on the Net. Quite a head turner.

for those of you who got rid of those ludicrous stock wheels & put 8" rims on & are looking for tyres...go no further than the new Michelin Pilot Sport 3...went to the test day ...brilliant tyre & available atm for $260 a corner

P-zero Neros on mine. Awesome.
