CEL again FML !!

hi Guys

this is the second time the CEL comes on
first time i got it checked and nothing came up said everything was fine

this is the second time in a week its come on

only mod is CAI

any ideas on what the issue can be ?

what are you doing when it comes on?

does the car still run fine?

It could be many things. The only way to know is to find a friend with a OBD2 tool and get the code

Who installed your CAI?

Could be a poor fitting MAF sensor on your intake, How wet was it when the CEL came on?

Brand of CAI???????? Also does cai have an air staightener b4 the Maf sensor. No straightener can lead to turbulence and cause CEL.

I've run without a straightener for years and no CEL's from intake, have you got a DashHawk or someone near you can bring up the code?

got it checked came up as 'lead idle'
reset the comp and hasnt come up since

apparently maybe a air leak where the sensor is on the CAI

but if anyone has any other suggestions would be appreciated
