Well, went for a night drive to the local pub and it was raining pretty hard for a bit. No issues with the car cept i thought my lights were a little weak. I assumed that was because of the rain, but it wasn't till i got home that i found on of my lights is gone.
It's one of the HID Bi-Xenons on a 2009/2010 MPS Lux. (auto on/trim). I thought oh $hit... i'll check it in the morning. So Had a look in the morning and yeah it's a darker than the other one (Only one went). So i drove to autobarn to go ask them what they think.
He said it's looks like it's blown so i assumed oh ok, kind of strange.. but as he looked closer he said? "Have you taken this apart"..I'm like no? i've change my fog lights but i haven't touched my HIDs.
"they look like there is water in there"... :O oh man, not cool!. I also asked how much for a new bulb... $200 bucks!! oh $hit!.
anyway rushed home and took some photo's straight away.

I'm trying to contact Mazda Australia to see what they are gonna do about it as i don't want to pay $200 bucks for something that wasn't my fault. I mean if this is gonna happen every time it's heavy rain, not cool!
so yeah Horrible Sat night then!
OMG pressing the right pedal makes me for forward!...but pressing the middle doesn't.. hows does that work?... aliens...

Aww that sucks
Looks like your car is crying
Thanks btw for posting pics as i requested
Hope Mazda comes through for you![]()

unlucky mate. hopefully mazda sort it out for you.
If its anything like the series 1 bulb you can get a new set off ebay for <$50

Bugger mate. Should def be a warraty claim though

I just want to find out how it happend? cause i don't it to happen again.. >.<

Warranty job, new headlight
Defective part so shouldn't happen again.

Any Idea how long i would need to wait?

:S That is wacko Simon, hope they fix it for ya.

I'd be pushing them to resolve it quickly as technically the car has been rendered unroadworthy through what's most likely a manufacturing defect and certainly no fault of your own.
That's the angle I'd be taking with Mazda if you feel they're messing you around.
Also, contact the dealer you bought the car from. You're more likely to get it fixed quicker that way than through Mazda Aust. Speak to the Service Advisor at the dealership. My understanding is that they have the ability to ok many/most warranty claims in-house, and then they sort it out with Mazda Aust themselves.
