Default using Iphone as bluetooth ipod.

Hi, does anyone have music on their Iphone and listen to it bluetooth in the gen 2? Thats what ive been doing. can you still use the controls on the steering wheel to skip tracks etc? My steering wheel controls dont work for this, im sure the salesman told me they would via bluetooth but not the Aux cable. sorry if this has already been covered. couldnt find anything on it, Thanks.

Thanks guys. Yeah it seems none of the controls on the dash will work either in bluetooth.

    It's the iPhone's fault...not Mazda. I found this:

iPhone does support A2DP, but does not support AVRCP.

With most stereo bluetooth headphones you should be able to listen , play, pause, control volume level.

AVRCP is needed however to use the track back / forward / rewind / fast forward features on many headsets.
Same applies for car stereo implementation...and my in-helmet bluetooth audio system for my motorbike

    Question May get a blackberry?

I have an iphone to and was pissed when it didn't work. I may change to a blackberry when my contract expires because it will work completely with the stereo including showing the tracks on the nav screen. They use a more open format than apple. Love my phone but I want full control in the car.
