I'm curious guys, does this unit (or the Polaris you are talking about) plug into the audio system the same way the ipod connector does? If so can you plug your ipod into this still?

The polaris comes with a long IPOD cable so IPOD just connects like a normal one would.

I have had one of the Polaris units for just on 12 months, 1 month before the warranty ran out the gps module died. I have been having a whole bunch of trouble trying to get it repaired/replaced under warranty, so please beware !.
