    Default Lightweight Crankshaft Pulley Corksport

    Hey guys,

Im thinking in investing in the Corksport Lightweight Crankshaft pulley, <
CORKSPORT Mazdaspeed 3 Lightweight Crankshaft Pulley>.
Can anyone who actually has this product or know someone who does give me feedback.

    Cheers

It reduces the load on the acceleration of the motor.
It should rev quicker, if only a little faster.
A dyno won't show it up.
It's all about how it revs and feels

I'll sell you the same item at half the price if you want one. (no CS brand on it though)
    Email me for more details.

I have one on my Audi.
It is more noticable on lesser powered cars where response is more linear.

I'm not saying you won't feel it, you will if you are @ 1 with your car.

Looks like a lot of effort involved in fitting this part for probably very little gain, if you are serious about reducing the rotational mass of the crank, buy a lightened flywheel, you will definitely notice a difference by fitting one of these.

How much would you be looking at installing the crankshaft?

Download the PDF instructions from the Corksport website and take them to your local mechanic for a quote, Im going to guess quite a bit more than the cost of the pulley.

Not really a DIY job due to the design of these engines...
