What a beauty of a car to work on!! Not for everyones' taste, but I've seen that colour on many old Datsuns. I prefer the 240Z, a little more compact in the rear. There was one in Superman blue, all polished up, Superman seat covers, chrome trims gleaming... it was great, but if I knew the owner, I'd send them to you with these pics in hand... would've been faster than a speeding bullet standing still!

This one belongs to a good friend of mine and he's had it so long it's like part of the family. I've observed it over the years as it's slowly been modified from stock to the point where it's almost become a living breathing thing.

There's a lot of emotion and history invested in this car, and it was an absolute joy for me to restore some of its former glory

Pity you don't really know the guy who owned the blue one you mentioned. I'm starting to pick up some referral business, which is awesome. Can never get enough of it though
