Default POLL: Would you pay $800 or more for my MPS Wheels/Tyes??

Hey All, as some of you may have seen, my wheels are for on Ebay.

The tyres have inside wear, there is gutter rash on 1 wheel only. The rest look great.

    Gutter rash:

But as usual you get people coming through offering you a Buy it Now, even though BUY IT NOW is goneski!!

So I'm trying to gauge whether "I'm dreaming" about a $800 pricetag for these babies.

Can you vote on whether you would pay over or under $800???

    THANK YOU!!!!

I've seen Mazda6 Sport wheels (no tyres) go for over $600. I think $800 is a good price.

I recently sold a set of 4, 1 week old 2011 MPS rims only on the OZMAZDA.com website for $800.It only took a day.

If I were looking for a set of these I'd be more than happy to pay $800 Brad

    I actually think it's a bit of a bargain

On ebay youll find bidding will go apeshit in the final half hour, when i've tried to get wheels at a good price i've tried to snipe them at the last minute and the price has basically doubled in the last 30 seconds of the auction.

Are you including the $1 coin in the sale? What condition is the coin in? What is it's year of release? Can you post any pics of damage to the coin?

    Cheers,

I voted no, but only because imo they are ugly. However I can see someone who likes them paying that much...easy!

    is with my photos.

So, if I post photos on the forum they work on the forum but not on Tapatalk.

If I post via Tapatalk (with a Photobucket IMG link) it works on both.

    Weird shit.

I voted yes because the tyres are still worth $100 to $150 a tyre if they are 1/2 thread left so the rims must be worth $50 to $100 each. Shit I sold my Gen ! Sports rims for $650 and the tyres were shot and only good for another 2 to 5000k's...........but I didn't have gutter rash Good Luck Brad don't be in a hurry mate they will sell...

I voted no. As the tyres do no have much life left in them.

Don't worry about ebay bids. They will come in the last 24 hours. But it is also the risk you take puting item/s on ebay, sometimes it may not reach expectations.

I also have a figure in mind of what I wanna pay for them. I was just gonna bid Sunday somtime if the bidding had not reached my figure. I am one of those 41 watchers.

I do find it ammusing that people are willing to offer a "BIN" figure to you, but just not bid the same amount. lol

I have a guy coming over tonight to have a look. He thinks waving $550 in front of me will win me over. But I'll play ball. Hopefully he'll just bite the bullet and bid like everyone else.

If anyone as watching the 18" RX8 wheels on ebay a few months ago, they started at $250 and finished at around $700. I'd be happy with that. But we'll see, I'm realistic.

You could get lucky and find some one that really likes the MPS style and has damage 1 or 2 of the rims and wishes to purchase replacement ones... do you know how much a rim is from mazda?

Saying that the money your asking is very reasonable, its just a right buyer type of thing... People looking at rims i think look at aftermarket before genuine stuff first

Yeah. My thoughts too. ATM there are no MPS wheels on the market. Hope that helps my chances.

Yes, it's warming up a little. $280 short of my magic number.

Last 10 minutes will prove interesting.
