We would love to get some representation from our members down south, or a convoy from the North or West???
We would be happy to supply some stickers, etc to make you look more like a rally car! There's $20k's worth of prizes up for grabs for
forum members and prime time TV coverage on Channel 10.
I have entered the timeattack event, depending on how things go I might give the Gymkhana or Tarmac rally a try but all of my experience is with timeattack type events so I am sticking to that for now.
Just something to note for people who want to sign up for the motorsports events:
You Need a CAMS L2S licence. To get this you need to be a member of a CAMS affiliated club, I joined the Japanese sports car club: Home page of the Japanese Sports Car Club (JSCC)
Once you join an appropriate club, go to www.cams.com.au and send in an application for a licence. I organized this early, it would be silly to have this requirement prevent you from competing.
You also need a 1kg(min) fire extinguisher to be attached to the car via a metal bracket. I have bought one and will be bolting it to the passengers seat adjuster.
