    Awesome stuff , just a few Q's:

Is there any method of starting to add these? Like if i do rear strut should i do front at same time???

Which are hardest to fit on an MPS3?

Finally, these will make the car more rigid and stable but will it effect the ride, sorry if this question seems silly but i'm considering doing sways and above bracing over coils atm and want to work out my options.

    Thanks
    James

The front strut braces only fit non-MPS Mazda 3 and 6 (without some modification anyway) and the Mazda 3 rear strut brace is for sedan only. (details updated)

The Mazda 3 underbody bracing will suit both hatch and sedan.

Bracing is meant to compliment suspension mods. The stiffer the suspension mounting points, the more accurate the adjustment of the parts will be. It will not reduce ride quality, just improve it.

Springs/shocks or coilovers (in my opinion) should be done before anti-sway bars. Springs/shocks improve (usually) the ride quality/stiffness somewhat as a general, anti-sway bars are used to flatten the ride in its chosen area. Anti-sway bars are for loading/unloading particular areas to gain or lessen traction (tyre contact patch) on the road.

Order of mods depends on what you want. When I tracked my car I got the shits with it understeering all day so I looked into what would help fix that. Turns out the general rule for reducing understeer in a fwd car is a stiffer rear sway bar. So I bought one. I'll let you know once I install it (Sunday project)

Exactly how bracing fits this equation I'm not sure but i think a rsb + rear end bracing can move the car further towards oversteer.

With just the rear brace I made for my car and slicks on the front, It had awesome turn in and handling, but, I would be very nervous from lift-off over steer. Too much front end grip. It needs to be balanced evenly.

Wow was that just with a brace and no rsb? Or did you have the sway bar already?

Brace only. It was a custom made one. 4 points of location aswell.

Only other suspension mod was coilovers. No RSB

I can do it for that including postage.
I can get it painted red and black for around $40.
I don't know if it will clear the battery box/lid and intercooler piping.
